About

This blog is brought to you by RUNNING & READING [the key to life] for AMERICA by Kathy Smith, Diane Hill, Rene Dillon, Tina Mansoorian, Kay Snow-Davis, and Fred Kaplan with the book recommendation by Manny Ipaka who all met via my.barakobama.com GET INVOLVED NOW program. We have based this program inspired by Will Smith’s hit song, Running and Reading – [The Key To Life]
lyrics by Will Smith: jazzyjefffreshiprice.com
I’m gonna say something that I want you to remember for the rest of your lives. OK? And, I want you to listen closely.
I’m giving you the key to life right now… the key to life. This is the key to life. The key to life is running and reading. All right? OK, now I am very serious. The key to life is running and reading.
All right now, why running? When you’re running, and you’re out there running, there’s a little person that talks to you. And that little person says, oh, I’m tired! My lungs are about to pop! Oh, I’m so hurt! I’m so tired. There’s no way I could possibly continue. And you wanna quit! Right?! That person, if you learn how to defeat that person when you’re running, “you will learn to not quit when things get hard in your life…” Running, all right?! That’s the first key to life.
I got this real psychotic thing about like perfection and working hard and like when I was real young, I realized that “The person that works the hardest wins.”
While other guys sleeping, I’m working. While the other guy’s eating’ I’m working…
Love what you do, and do what you love
Love what you do, and do what you love
Reading
The reason that reading is so important…
There have been millions, and billions and gizillions of people that have lived before all of us. There’s no new problem that you could have… with parents, with schools, with a bully, with anything… there’s no problem you could have that someone hasn’t already solved, and wrote about it in a book.
So the keys to life, are running and reading.
The person that works the hardest, wins.
